Mormon apologetics

Mormon apologetics is the systematic defense of Mormonism against its critics. Notable Latter-day Saint (Mormon) apologists include early church leaders such as John Taylor, B. H. Roberts, James E. Talmage and modern scholars such as Hugh Nibley, Orson Scott Card, and Jeff Lindsay. A well-known Mormon apologetic organization is the Foundation for Apologetic Information & Research (FAIR).

The Foundation for Ancient Research and Mormon Studies (FARMS), a research organization based at Brigham Young University (BYU), is considered by some critics of Mormonism (as well as by some Mormons) to be an apologetic organization; however, most of their research focuses on Near Eastern ancient texts, Mormon history and Book of Mormon archaeology.
